The difference between an eligibility check and a Claims Bridge claim

Why a preliminary assessment and a Claims Bridge claim are separate steps in the client journey.

The assessment is a starting point

The eligibility assessment asks focused questions about the tenancy, deposit and protection information you remember. It helps organise an initial picture and may indicate that further review is worth considering.

The claim is a separate decision

A persisted assessment does not automatically create a claim. After reviewing a preliminary result, you choose whether to continue. If you proceed, Claims Bridge creates a separate claim record with its own reference, status and workspace.

Further information may be needed

As a claim develops, supporting information or evidence may be requested. The client workspace is designed to keep those requests, messages and progress visible in context.
